The Budapest Card is automatically activated the first time it is used. All you have to do before using it is to write your surname and first name, the date and time you start using it on the back.

Simply show it to get free entry or to get the discounts and benefits reserved for you. Consult the guide that you will receive with your Budapest Card for full details on how to use it.

Once activated it will be valid for the number of consecutive hours you have purchased. For example: if you purchased a 72-hour card, and you use it for the first time on a Thursday at 12 noon, the card will expire at 11.59 a.m. on Sunday.
