Japan Rail Pass global

Japan Rail Pass is the rail pass to visit Japan for a convenient price.
You can use almost all the "Shinkansen" high-speed trains (Except for Nozomi and Mizuho trains). Urban rails, Tokyo Monorail and JR shuttle bus are included. Unlimited travel for 7, 14 or 21 consecutive days. Choose the 2nd class ordinary fare or the luxurious 1st class. 

It is possible to buy this thicket outside Japan only, as it is valid for those who have a tourist visa.

• The price for a 7 days JR pass costs as a return journey Tokyo-Kyoto!

How it works

You receive everything you order in original version, with express courier, at the "shipping address" you selected. The tickets issue could take 3-4 working days.  

Activation

Collect the tickets at the main rail stations with this sign:
"Midori-no madoguchi"

In these offices you can also book your seat. At the time of collection you will have to fill out a form, bring the passport with you  and the "Temporary visitor" stamp you will get upon your arrival in Japan. You will not receive the Pass if you don't bring the passport with you. When filling out the form, bring attention to names and surnames' orthography.

Pay attention to:
- compund names, maiden names etc..

How to use it

Shinkansen and  e most of the ordinary and special express trains have bookable seats in the Green class carriage (1st class)and both bookable and unbookable stats in the second class.

Japan Rail Pass is not valid for "Nozomi" trains.

You can take the free seats simply showing your Japan Rail Pass.
The seat reservation can be made at no extra charge.
To make a reservation you can easy go to any Travel Service Center, to a JR station's booking office or to an affiliated travel agency.

During the peak periods it is not always possible to book seats: from 28 December to 6 January, from 27 April to 6 May, from 11 August to 20 August.

Once activated, the pass is valid for the number of consecutive days you purchased. Example: if you bought a 7 days pass and you use it for the first time on Thursday, at any time, the pass expires on the nbext Wednesday, at 23.59.
