How it works
Activation
Once in England, you can activate the pass when you want.
ATTENTION: once activate, it can no longer be changed.
How to use it
Get on the trains you prefer withount paying supplement. Show your pass to the train controller if required.
Validity
After the first validation, it's valid for 2, 3, 4 or 8 consecutive days depending on the pass you bought.
For example: if you have bought a 4 days pass and you use it for the first time on Thursday, it expires on Sunday at 24.00
Refunds will be granted if the Pass has not been validated/activated, within one year from the date of issuance (unless the travel agent has specified a different time period).
BritRail M_Pass is not refundable once the passenger has clicked "Activate" on the activation website.
No refund can be made in Britain. Refund cannot be made if the Pass cannot be produced.
The cancellation fee will be a minimum of 25%. Special offers are not refundable.
Seat and bed reservations are non-refundable.
Lost Passes:
BritRail is not responsible for lost, stolen, mutilated or destroyed tickets. Refunds cannot be authorized in these cases.
Valid on all trains in England, airport trains included, without paying any extra.

- Children up to 4 years old: they travel for free and they don't need a ticket
- Children 5-15: they travel for free if they are accompanied by an adult/senior (max 1 child for each adult)
- Youths 16-25: discounted fare
- Adults 26-59: adult fare
- 60+: senior fare
