Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket

Unlimited travel by bus, tram, train and metro throughout Amsterdam and the surrounding region. Schiphol Airport included! This pass is valid for travel with GVB, Amsterdam's urban transport company, with Connexxion and EBS bus services and on NS trains (the Dutch state railways).
It is an ideal pass for a stay in Amsterdam and visiting famous places. Volendam, Zaanse Schans or Harlem are no more than half an hour away!

You will receive, directly at the address you have indicated as 'shipping address', everything you have ordered in original. The Amsterdam&Region Travel Tickets will be the final ones, to be used on the spot without further formalities!

Ready-to-use.  Activated automatically the first time it is used.

By bus or tram

A magnetic reader is located next to the driver. Hold your Card in front of the reader, you will hear a beep and see a green light. This means that check-in is successful and you can sit down for your journey. Check-out works the same way, the magnetic reader is located near the exit doors.

On the metro or train

The magnetic reader is located on the right-hand side of the access doors. For Line 51 and NS trains, the readers are on the platform platforms. Hold your Card in front of the reader. The gate opens and you will hear an acoustic signal and a green light. You can now enter. You do the same when exiting the metro or train stations.

Once activated it will be valid for the number of consecutive days you have purchased it. For example: if you purchased a 3-day pass, and you use it, for the first time, on a Thursday, at any given time, the pass will expire at 04.00 a.m. on Sunday.
The 5-day version is made up of a 2-day pass and a 3-day pass.
